OPEN POSITION ON THE STAGEWORKS BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
TREASURER

The StageWorks Board of Directors is seeking a Treasurer! No prior non-profit or board experience is required, but knowledge of and experience with finance, record-keeping, and skills related to the role outline is a must. All positions on the StageWorks Board are volunteer, and Board members must commit to a monthly meeting. TREASURER - ROLE OUTLINE:


The Treasure is responsible for overseeing the financial and monetary aspects of the organization. The Treasurer collects, records, deposits, and reports on monies received; records and balances monthly bank statements; pays approved bills; keeps accurate records of expenses; is responsible for annual non-profit corporation reports; and reports on financials at each board meeting. The Treasurer also maintains files of deposit slips, invoices, and receipts and provides acknowledgment of tax-deductible donations and handles taxes for the organization.


The Treasurer is required to uphold StageWorks values, leading by example regarding professionalism, positivity, and kindness. A positive experience for all involved within the community is an integral element of the StageWorks organization.
